Design & Approvals
Design – Designing your now custom concrete swimming pool to fit your desired space is where the fun begins. We can be there to help make your concept a reality. One of our knowledgeable and friendly team members will point out any critical requirements such as sewer and stormwater, where the pool can go in proximity to existing slabs or retaining walls and how to overcome these obstacles and others that may arise.
Approvals – Once contracts are signed, we can then move on to the approvals and obtaining insurance for your pools construction. This insurance figure will be based on a percentage of the contract price. We will also send plans through to council and draftsman who will ensure that your pools structural integrity will stand the test of time.

Site Set & Dig
Site Set Out & Dig – on dig day our team will be there early to mark out the pool and work alongside the excavation team to ensure that your pool is dug to your requested specifications.

Formwork & Steel
Formwork & Steel – Immediately following the digs completion (if not during) the form work will be get underway and the reinforced steel cage will be made in the excavated area as per the engineers’ specifications.

Plumbing & Shell
Internal Plumb, Pre Plumb & Shell – The reinforced cage is now complete and you can see your dream pool coming together nicely so it is time for the internal plumbing (cage plumb) to go in. Our extremely talented plumbers will run all of the internal plumbing and any extras like in-floor cleaning, heat provisions and or water jets that will be covered by the concrete shell and also run pipework to your desired location for the filtration. Now we can spray the pool shell to complete the structural components of your pool.

Tiling
Tiling – We are over the half way mark now for the pool. This is the stage when the hours of research and looking at colour palates comes to life. Whether you have selected a fully tiled pool or a waterline with step edging to go with your coping our professional tilers will be sure to impress you.

Pebblecrete & Fill
Landscaping (if requested)
Pool Fencing – Everyone knows its safety first around water especially with children so now is the time that your pool fencing needs to be installed. Only once this step has been completed and certified to pass legislative requirements can we move forward to seeing the finishing touches added so that your dream can now be your reality.
Pebblecrete and Fill – If you didn’t choose a fully tiled pool then this is the stage that your pebblecrete compliments the waterline tiles and or coping that has already been laid on your pool. Once the acid wash has happened its time to start filling up your new pool.

Start Up
Start Up – At Nirvana Pools and Spas we operate a little differently with regards to our handovers. A Nirvana team member will come out and do a start up of your swimming pool. This is to ensure that your pool is fully functional without any defects and to give your pool water a chance to absorb the chemistry that has been added. Once your pool is sparkling we can then book in a handover.

Handover
Handover – On handover day we want you to feel excitement and joy to finally be able to go swimming in your new pool. Once the handover paperwork is all finalised and signed off your warranties will start and you can finally enjoy your new found Nirvana.
